Beryllium Copper Rod/Bar

Very precise and versatile from cold drawing and extruding.  Provides hardness and electrical conductivity for precision in structural components and durability in electrodes.  Ease of fabrication in bending and machining.  Material is available in the hardened condition- Annealed and precipitation hardened (AT), and annealed, cold drawn and precipitation hardened (HT).  The uniqueness of this material comes from features such as simple age hardening, strength, corrosion resistance, and machinability.  Forming on material is done before age hardening, while machining is done afterwards.  An important use of this material is in products for resistance welding applications.  Such applications may include low maintenance bearings and bushings, core pins and other inserts for plastic injection molding and metal die casting, wear plates, guide rails and bus bars, and machined threaded fasteners. 

Beryllium Copper Tubing

This material comes in a wide range of sizes.  These range from light wall cold drawn material to heavy wall hot worked material.  Provides hardness and electrical conductivity for precision in structural components and durability in electrodes.  Ease of fabrication in bending and machining.  Material is available in the hardened condition.  Annealed and precipitation hardened (AT), and annealed, cold drawn and precipitation hardened (HT).  An important use of this material is in products for resistance welding applications.  Such applications may include bearings for aircraft landing gear and pivots, tri-cone drilling bit bushings, high deflection strong instrument tubes such as bourdon and pivot types, and pressure housings for precision magnetometers and other instruments.
